Terms and Conditions for Hypnotherapy Services

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of services provided by Hypnotherapy DeBono. By booking a session with Hypnotherapy DeBono, you agree to the following terms:

1. Services Provided

By booking an appointment with Hypnotherapy DeBono, you understand and acknowledge that hypnotherapy sessions are provided to help you address specific personal challenges. The services include both in-person and remote hypnotherapy sessions, as well as the use of relaxation downloads that are an integral part of your treatment. You agree to listen to and engage with the relaxation download as part of your therapy process.

2. Payment and Fees

  • Payment: The full fee for each hypnotherapy session is payable in advance at the time of booking.

  • Block Booking: For block booking programmes, the total fee for the entire block is payable in advance. These block bookings are non-partially refundable; however, any remaining sessions may be refunded at the therapist’s discretion.

  • Banking of Sessions: Sessions can be banked for up to one year from the date of the first session. Any remaining sessions after this period will be forfeit.

3. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

  • Cancellation Notice: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to provide this notice will result in the forfeit of the session, at the therapist’s discretion.

  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for a session, the full session fee will still be applicable, and the session will end at the originally scheduled time.

4. Transferability of Sessions

Sessions and block bookings are non-transferable to others. If you wish to stop your sessions, you must notify Hypnotherapy DeBono in advance. Sessions cannot be transferred or given to another person.

5. Specific Conditions for Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) Clients

Clients who are receiving treatment for Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) must attend weekly sessions without significant breaks. If you are admitted to the hospital, you agree to continue attending your sessions even while in hospital. Unlike other clients, those with HG are permitted a maximum gap of 2 sessions between appointments.

6. No Guarantee of Results

You understand and acknowledge that Hypnotherapy DeBono provides services aimed at helping you address specific challenges, but there is no guarantee that your problem will be “cured” or “resolved”. The results of hypnotherapy vary depending on individual circumstances, and Hypnotherapy DeBono cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

7. Client Responsibility

By booking your session, you confirm that:

  • You have been fully informed about the nature of the treatment and the work required (including the use of relaxation downloads).

  • You are responsible for attending your sessions as scheduled, and you will engage with the treatment as instructed.

  • You will notify Hypnotherapy DeBono if you experience any adverse effects or concerns during the course of your treatment.

8. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Your personal information and treatment details are kept strictly confidential, except as required by law. Hypnotherapy DeBono complies with data protection laws and will not share your personal data with third parties without your consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

Hypnotherapy DeBono will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from your use of hypnotherapy services. You agree to assume responsibility for your own well-being during and after the sessions.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Hypnotherapy DeBono reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the website, and the updated date will be noted at the top of this document.
